My brother's wedding

Well, I am back from Las Vegas. Nice place to visit, but no way would I want to live there. The picture above is my brother (left) and myself taken at the wedding chapel right before he got married. The chapel was typical Las Vegas. Vintage 1970's style couches for guests and a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. I half expected Elvis to perform the ceremony.

The picture above was taken at Harrah's right after they were married. Harrah's was nice but a little to sprawling for me. I don't like being in a casino and getting lost which is exactly what happened. I find the older I get the more easily it becomes to get disoriented

Another picture of the happy couple out on the Vegas strip in front of Ceaser's Palace. It actually started raining right after the picture was taken. RAIN IN VEGAS?!?! WTF?

From the left, Libby's father, mother, Libby, my brother, Libby's sister-in-law, and Libby's brother. In the forefront, Babu the Indian Photographer who tried to sell the Pictures he took for $1000.00. Libby's mom, who drives a hard bargain, talked him down to $325.00.

I stayed at the Gold Coast hotel. The hotel where apparently, the film "Kingpin" was filmed. More my style. Cheaper and more intimate and a great view of the Luxor and Mandalay Bay.

Well, that's all for now. Good to be Back Home. Above, the view on our front step. Doesn't get much better than that.

VEGAS BABY!!!

Well, I am off to Las Vegas this weekend. My brother, pictured above in the army uniform, is getting married to a wonderful gal named Libby at Harrah's. Our mother to the left. Don't know the douche in the middle. I will have pictures posted of Libby on the27th. This is my brothers second marriage. His first to a sane woman. He just got out of the army not to long ago. If I remember correctly, he was attached to 3rd ID. He spent 18 months in Tikrit, Iraq as an interrogator. I have included a better picture of my mom seeing as she seems to be sleeping standing up in the picture with my brother Andrew. She is holding my nephew, Andrews son.

Marley and me

I would like to introduce you to our 2 dogs The first one ( as seen above ) we rescued from the dog pound. We had just moved into our new house and decided we would get 2 dogs. I went to the local shelter and as i made my way around the kennel, out of about 40 dogs, she was the only one who didin't bark. It was love at first sight. She is a Flat Coat Retriever. The name on the kennel was "Dianne". Who the hell names a dog Dianne. She had dreads hanging below her ears . So it was settled. We named her Marley. She is a great dog and as you can see, not at all camera shy. If you look close, she is actually smiling.

This Little guy my wife rescued, from of all places, a pet store. He is a combination Bichon and Poodle. He was underweight, and the runt of the litter. He was afraid of everything and everyone. He immediately took a liking to my daughter, and are now inseperable. Because we Had a Marley, we of course named him Ziggy.
